Ward, agreed. But there are many that bought above $5 and thus makes it a true statement that many might share his views.

Thanks for the reply,
rb

Bill -
'Things are always darkest before the dawn' applies here.
It's almost a rule for quality low-caps to have a big dip just before the start of a major rally. Why? Manipulation (shakeout) or whatever; it doesn't really matter. This dip was almost inevitable, and under the circumstances (believe it or not), I see it as a positive event - a rite of passage we have to endure to get to the other side.
My bet is sizable money will come in and turn us around within the next few days.

i sold a portion of my ftel holdings this week between 2.125 and 2.25
although this is an excellent stock for the long term with great management and great product this is the reason i sold..
i bot a lot at around 5.75...if i sell now i sort of make a 50% profit in ftel... here's how
i'm in 30% tax bracket...loss of 5.75-2.25 per share = 3.5
if i sell i can take a tax loss to cancel out my gains from other stocks for the year so 30% of 3.5 is about a $1
add this to current ftel price of 2 + 1 = 3 which is 50% gain in a convoluted way. This also means that if i buy back ftel at anything under $3 after a month to avoid wash rule i made money on transaction. and if price goes down or stays same i can buy back in and i will have same # of shares and a tax loss so i win even more.
i guess this is convoluted logic and banks on the price not moving too much higher within a month.
i suppose that these quarters revs won't be too high and the ramp up costs will be high so there will be high losses...it seems as if the street wants to see revenues before they move this stock up
so i did do DD and read the excellent DD by the posters on this thread...and that is the reason i am selling if u wondering who would be selling
sorry for the long post
if u see a small buy spike in a month that would be me..hehehe
