Win 98 -- I just read a report that sales are at 10-12,000 a day, not including OEM. Sorry, but I lost the link. That's a million bucks a day. Not bad, but hardly explosive. I'm not sure if they were including weekends. If they were, then 365 million dollars a year works out to an extra 15-20 cents a share over the year of revenue.

Gene - thanks for the great analysis! You're scaring me, though, with your comment that 'they were much less negative than normal'. I mean, what will I do with all that money?!

BTW, how come the story in today's Washington Post about the state's greatly reducing their law suit against MSFT was on page 10, when the original story was headline of the front page AND the business section?

The CFO Maffei clearly said in the conf call that it's mumbo jumbo to add back the defered revenues. They are defered for a good reason.
