Datek's representatives do not appear to give a rip about the recent complaints. Maybe they used to post here in an attempt to shore up customer satisfaction in order to pick up new business. Maybe some bureaucrat decided this was a waste of time because the analysis showed that there hasn't been a significant number of new sign-ons. A business decision clear and simple. Actually that will prove to be a bad long-term decision. When they used to give a rip, I felt better about my relationship with them and did not change to another broker when I really wanted to because it seemed as if they were at least trying. Who knows, maybe they realized that people will complain no matter what you do. The halls of history have recorded thousands of businesses with Datek's current attitude - trouble is no one remembers their name anymore because they simply are not around. The great companies that have survived still listen to their customers and do everything they can to improve their businesses to meet the needs of their customers. They welcome complaints, it's the stuff success is made of.
