Zeev, Then you come from a Tribe of Priests. Not all Levites were Priests, some had lesser duties. You certainly know more of your heritage than I know of mine. The Lord commanded Moses to give to the Levites a total of 48 towns, six being cities of refuge, together with with surrounding pastureland. (my verbeage from memory) If memory serves, I believe this was in the area of Jerico. Your Tribe was certainly "special", In that they were chosen to serve the Lord in his Temple. I hear that they ate pretty well also. I hear that there is perhaps an effort to rebuild the Temple. Who knows, perhaps you might be called to duty!! Best regards, Zeev, descendant of Levi!
