To All

I was surprised to hear that Tellabs has taken a loss on its Wireless division. I presume that this means the Steinbrecher smart radios Mr. Gilder has discussed so often were not generating revenues let alone profits. I had heard that there were some trials in South America. Does anyone know what happened? I started to listen to the conference call but after 30 minutes I had to go and they were still only talking about the financials! Is the market soft for WLL or is the steinbrecher/tellabs technology simply not ready for commercial deployment?

A different question- An analyst report on ADI stated that the ADI DSP division has been a drag on earnings. How is this possible? With the DSP market growing at more than %30/yr? Is ADI in a lower margin portion of the DSP business? Does this make sense to anybody?

Wanted to ask about both of these things since DSPs and smart radios are central to the GTR reports.
