Yes it does but the period that we are going through, even though it involves 5% movements daily, is one of consolidation. The market is taking a rest after the recent gains and is not over-bought. A re-test of the high seems possible and if the markets like the news next week (no matter what the fundamental picture says), that could be enough to pull the trigger. Another bull run? There was no logic to the previous one so there needn't be one now either...

All in all, it is impossible to call this one until either the bears or the bulls commit themselves to the market. In the fullness of time, the market will adjust to more reasoned valuations but as long as the future is discounted to the extent that it is at present, that time seems a long way away. I'm just going to trade the volatility.
