Taz..
the only reason I can see for a company to call for certs, is #1 so they are not in the float #2 share holders can't trade them when the split does come. There are other BB stocks that I question as well. Look at HCCA's recent 1000:1 split which followed millions of shares of inside selling which was supposedly for the purpose of financing some helicopter patents. Hmmmm let's see, Health care, gold mining & helicopter manufacture. Sounds like a focused business plan to me. This would appear to most as a blatant sham and deliberate fraud, but still there is no investigation by the legal powers who are supposed to investigate. This leaves the playing field wide open for "legal" fraud and the shell game. It is not surprising that the reverse split is being used as a benefit for these shell companies, by allowing them to operate for a couple of more years before the next RS is "necessary in the shareholders interest."
