I thought I knew all the early cowboy shows. This one is a stumper. The hero must have been the guy who played Cosby's partner in the 60's program I Spy. The name escapes me.

What was the name of the 1957 TV western, starring a well known early partner of Bill Cosby, as a Texas Ranger.

Could it have been The Bounty Hunter starring Steve McQueen?

Robert Culp was the early Bill Cosby partner in I Spy

The series with Robert Culp in 1957 was "Trackdown". One of the directors was a young Sam Peckinpaugh("Straw Dogs")
