What if someone who does very complicated valuations continues to hold BRKA nonetheless. What rules of valuation, simple or complex, wouldn't screen it out? It's just human nature -- once someone starts calculating, "external" considerations creep in.

DCA'ing into an Index product is a "blind-folded-while-you-sleep" strategy. Automatic fixed-dollar amount contributions at regular intervals are easily arranged. There is nothing to calculate, nothing to "fudge". It is the ultimate in "freedom from bother" for the conservative investor.
