I understand your point, but I think you took my comment to literally. I think the investment community is too focused as I was, when I first learned about Cube on the potential of PC-DVD and consumer DVD. As such I was disappointed when Cube would communicate putting their development efforts into other lines of business's (i.e. Divicom, broadcasting, VCD/CVD). Their explanation to this approach being that until acceptance of an encoding solution be adopted into the products being sold, market acceptance of these products now being sold will be slow, and the profit margins will be low on the engines driving these products ( just look at the Financial Statements of the companies mainly competing in this arena). Now that time has passed and I have the ability to look at Cube's development in retrospect and can appreciate their approach.I can see the positive results of this quarter and the prospective growth moving foward . While making substantial investment in R&D, or the intrinsic value of the company, rather than P\R,which while I agree adds value , requires timing of acceptance of a whole new technology. I believe in managements' approach and as such, I am content that my investment in C-Cube has the potential to bring me substantial returns.( As soon as the investment community as a whole starts to fully digest the digital revolution. Then they will look for those companies that figured out how to profit from this technology.)
