Maxwell, perhaps I should have been more clear. Show me the benchmark RESULTS, and please not an alien blaster benchmark and not a dumb selection of a couple of hand picked instructions, but a industry accepted benchmark. How about Spec95fp? Or something similar.

K6-2-300 finishes in 1 sec and PII-300 finishes 10 sec.


If I ever need the squareroot of all those numbers I will by a K6-2, otherwise I'll buy a PII-400. <G>

No modern processors would finish a square root operation in one second.

May I give you a hint? Try under a micro-second.
