Chat Dave, Even though salim was mighty pissed @ the time he had very good points in regards to insider trading. Its actually a method of trading that some people are very successful with in. I could usually find something of worth in his posts along with all the humor that accompanied them. :}

<<Doug; I miss ol' Salims posts, every morning I'd log into the Amati board and see
something like "Stock looking weak today, get out while you can">>

Hi Dave,
Given the 20/20 of hindsight it looks like Salim was pretty much on target. Salim and others (myself included) warned of AMTX pending cash crash. It turned out to be correct. Amati did not have the cash to stay alive as a company. Salim was PO'd because (as he said - he fell for Amati, and got burnt). That said, was he wrong ?
