AV--I am definitely not referrig to you relative to refinaincing the house and car. This friend does not frequent this thread or SI, for that matter. I am trying to look out for his best interests and make his money work for him. You, on the other hand, have yours paid off, for the right reasons. You made your money work for you and used your proceeds to take care of the trivial expenses that were bothersome to you<GGGG>. But as long as you don't have a mortgage payment anymore, you could send in a check from J's account to cover mine for, say, the next 19 years<GGG>.
