Where is the contradiction? I said Linux sucks and is the same old UNIX story. But it is a much better implementation of UNIX on Intel than Slowaris is. Let me state bluntly that Intel hardware will dominate. NT will take the lions share of operating systems on Intel but if Solaris is so great and cheap then why are Informix, Oracle, and Netscape jumping on the Linux bandwagon? Sun will never have a strong Intel presence. Its either Sparc or the bulldozers come and flatten Sun headquarters. But look on the bright side Paul. You can start a fine new career as a NT Registry Repairman <g>.
