Daniel,

No stock pays a 40% dividend. No company could afford this.
Be careful when a Dividend is high (ie. 9%) because stock price may be declining with cause and the dividend may be reduced or eliminated. Dividends aren't guarenteed year to year.

There are many ways to trade/invest. Keep reading, learning, and possibly paper trading (though understand this is much easier than the real world) and you'll be fine.

Yeah, 'cept for the fact that AIJ's dividend is 11.48 percent.
