BID.COM was also mentioned in Saturday's Montreal Gazette.

Internet Liquidators International Inc. of Toronto changed its name last week to BID.COM International Inc. to reflect the growth of its Web site of the same name. The site lets people bid on computers, stereos, cameras and other items online.
The suffix "obviously differentiates you from other players that might
not be tied to the internet," said Patrick Keane,an analyst at market
researcher Jupiter Communications. "It's ultimately going to be an easier way for people to find you"

This company is starting to get a little more attention and it wont take investors very long to realize the potential this company has.

Joe, It is a crowded market and entry is cheap and there is a near infinite number of web addresses to publicise. The use of gateways like AOL will stream people to you, however ad free gateways by altruists are springing up and as long as they eschew excess graphic they can index and list thousands of sites and thay can show an array of competitors all at the same time. I suspect that these free adless gateways will gain and the money paid by BII will increasingly be wasted and AOL too will suffer as it will be less able to get big bucks etc etc.
