DPK, my opinion is that the value of brokerage house research and analyst opinions is equal to a big steaming pile of dog sh**. And I'm being kind here. They want you to trade. Read some of Chuzzelwit's posts on the issue. All of the information they offer is free on the net anyway. Furthermore, the best research and analysis for any tech stock is available right here on SI. I choose brokers not by commissions but by service. Breadth of offerings and competence. When I change addresses, I don't want them to muck up a simple procedure like that... you'd be surprised how many discount brokers cant handle a simple thing like that.. morons. I'd like to be able to buy some 3 month Tbills, NAMUD #1 bonds and 500 shrs of RMBS please, thank you. I don't want 22 year old knuckleheads calling me with the latest stock tip or Hot mutual fund... e.g. OLDE discount. Anyway, don't pay for and don't invest on professional opinions. Read the threads, ignore out the bozos, ferret out the insiders and the technically savvy. Then invest based on your accumulated knowledge. Best of luck. MEATHEAD
