Rocketeer,

The internet sector is certainly the "Soup du Jour." I have seen this type of phenomenon many times before...it is what many call "Sector Rotation." Whether it is the banks, the networkers, the oils, the utilities or the papers, there is always a hot sector in play.

By putting the entire sector on your screen, you can often see correlations between stocks within the sector. Once you have determined the correlations (positive, negative, or neutral) you can position yourself on both the long and short side simultaneously and make money going both ways...with lower market (systemic) risk.

The internet stocks are "ripping" these days. Any place that is volatile is potentially great for DayTraders (as long as they know to cut their losses quickly and let their profits run!)

Regards,

Michael Turner
