TO: JAN AND BRUCE,

TERRIFIC!!

You both did a wonderful job of setting forth some of your thoughts on using the P&F RS indicator. My questions were just something to get you started with your thinking process. You both get an A for the day and are hereby authorized your favorite treat (but only one).

I've posted Mike Burke's words before on relative strength, but it's worth a second, third, etc. >> We think relative strength is the most important tool a chartist should use to make money in the stock market. The overall movements in the DJIA, up or down, will carry a lot of stocks with it in the direction it is moving, but relative strength analysis will eliminate the market as a factor.<<

We must all remember that Jan's influence with DWA helped those of us in the cheap seats to get the RS charts at no additional charge. This is an indicator to be studied against the broad market and the individual stock P&F chart.

To all the regulars and observers. Read Jan and Bruce's thoughts on how they use RS. Ask them questions or clarification if you're not sure.

Or, tell the thread how you are using RS. If you do, you get to have your favorite treat too. (Now, if there's any problems with this, from ----- say a loving partner, you just tell them old Eric authorized it.)

Take care

Eric

Jan, do we have a shake out pattern here on PMCS? And if so, where would you be a buyer? Thanks for all your help.

Hi Jan, I'm trying to "catch up" with Your-Eric-Preston-Bruce-Duke & others' recent discussions on RS, and would like a (wee) bit of a clarification about your use of the term positive (below)...

>>I'd prefer to get a stock when the RS just flips to the positive side <<

...Are you saying that you'd prefer to get a stock when the RS just flips from Os to Xs, or from Sell to Buy, or either? Tx, East
