Evil twisted thought for the day:

If analysts and the company will insist on hyping page hits growth as a metric which better predicts the future of a company's profit outlook (no matter how many steps removed a hit is from a purchase, let alone a profitable one), then what would happen if each amzn bear, during their down time, would hit bgp ad bks sites, oh 10 a day, resulting in a much faster hit growth rate for them?

I did a few weeks of temporary work about a month ago at the Seattle location... Nothing special, just the usual assembly-line stuff... Every day there is a short pre-shift briefing, and Analyst's day was mentioned. I don't know if I'm allowed to even talk about it, since they make all the workers sign NDAs before they are allowed to work.

Its interesting that it's timed so close to earnings announcement.
