There's little doubt that Y2k has hit the mainstream media when the Today
Show devotes a significant segment to Y2k.

Tomorrow morning (Monday, July 20) during the first segment, (7 to 7:30 AM
EST) Matt Lauer will do a live interview with Ed Yardeni. Also, last
week, both Peter DeJager and I taped interviews for the segment. These are
the only guests I'm aware of for the moment, however, in the interest of
journalistic 'balance' I'm sure there will be some notable debunker such as
a David Starr or Don Scott type of person.

Note: The questions they threw at me were, for the most part, softballs.
I wouldn't expect much in terms of hard technical discussion.
