Geese are getting to be a big problem in parks and on golf courses. In the tri-county area West of here, they found remanents of the giant goose population. The area is full of strip mines so there are plenty of lakes. The area was closed to goose hunting for several years and now the geese are everywhere. Big birds weighing up to 22 pounds. And we also have around a million migratory geese during the Winter months.
