CSCO, LU.. overbought does not stop these companies. I mentioned in a previous post that companies of this sort usually break through resistance to reach new highs. TLAB hop is just an term I thought up just because the increase in this stock was excellent in every which way: A pre-report runup, a run up through the report and continued strong upward trend during the post-report. It's a great example of an earnings play that just wouldn't quit. Companies like CPQ, DELL, TLAB, LU and CSCO will tend to defy the overbought charts because the interest in them is huge and the anticipation is usually very hardy.
