In addition, the local govt granted Mu all sorts of financial/tax concessions. I tried to figure out the exact amount from UTAH papers and other online resources a year or so ago but wasn't able to get any exact numbers. However, I believe that if MU officially decides not to open Lehi, then they would have to return money to the local govt. So the charges would be higher than 700 million. Also, perhaps more cash would be required to cancel contracts.
