*AV*--If there were any doubt about you being an Engineer or understanding the Engineering mentality, your response below proves beyond a reasonable doubt that you are an Engineer or a re-incarnated Engineer.<GGG>

I often eyeball emas off of charts, so precision beyond the first digit after the decimal is sufficient. A physicist may agonize over this, but not an engineer.

I really love you 2 choices in CYMI and RMBS but we are doomed. those may be the only semiconductor technology stocks that Patrick is invested in. Kiss of death until he bad mouths them. As the sector falters, these two stocks are two of a select group that might be able to hold their own or actually prosper.<GGG>

I wonder how WFR will fare if/when the 300mm program goes kaput for the time being. I hope they can run 200mm wafers in their 300mm crucibles.

Air conditioners kicked in just past 10am this morning. Talking about computers crashing, I read today that the highest percentage of adults with computers is in none other than Salt Lake City, UT. It beat out San Francisco and Seattle-Tacoma. Hmmm!!!!!

Hot or Warm cooked Dinner??? Power outage or not, hot meals are a heresy in my household with weather like this. Everyone goes on strike. If it weren't for the pyromaniac skills of my son, who created a bon fire on the barbeque last night for a rack of ribs, the family would have starved. The only reason we had baked potatoes with it is because I wrapped the potatoes in aluminum foil and threw them into the barbeque for about an hour. My wife's idea of dinner on a hot night is Dairy Queen Sundaes.<GGG>

Tonight, spaghetti and meatballs ala Vance. that aught ot put them into orbit. Worst thing to eat on a hot night, I am told. Boil the spaghetti and nuke the sauce with the frozen meatballs added. But maybe it will rattle the ladies' cages enough to come up with a better menu for the upcoming week. The men are through with their week of KP duty and now its their turn.<GGG>
