Bachman, I wasn't trying to single out that person. I was very frustrated that with all of the information available about DELL, more people don't understand this company. You are correct that we are much better informed than most, and that there was a time when we were not as informed as we are now. However, some of the questions that were being asked are not the kind that people who already have an investment in DELL should be waiting until now to ask. That's the frustrating thing for me.

As for the share purchase program, I stand by my earlier statements that indicate that I am not in favor of using the company's resources to support this sort of program. I should also point out that, if the company were so concerned about the little guy, this kind of program would be in place. DELL wants people of all degrees of ownership to be shareholders, but their not about to subsidize the whole thing.

It was good to meet you on Thursday. I look forward to a LONG relationship on the DELL-SI thread.

Regards,

LoD

You stated:
If we wish to belittle someone, the finger should be pointing at us!! We DO know the questions that should have been asked, but WE didn't ask them. --Neither you, nor I, nor any of us asked a single question.

I personally think you are being entirely to hard on yourself.

You were in the line to ask a question when Michael stopped the Q&A session.

I would be interested to know what you question was.

And don't forget we asked lots of questions to Robert Williams at the briefing.

Maybe we could discuss some of these Q&A's .

Don't forget we heard about the 6-mil daily Internet sales first.

Relax, you did a fantastic job in my opinion as did Kemble.

Regards.

Donald

Three ,TR, and all:
Here is the web page sample where I can provide photographs
taken at the Dell meeting.
ticnet.com
Since I don't have any photo prints yet(hehe), its a photo of my grandson run thru a scanner( he wasn't, the photo was).ggg
Technically, my web page has only 20 megs so am using a coarse scan which will permit putting several photos on at one time.
These could then be removed after say one day and replaced with new different photos.
Am rather new to this web page stuff, so if other techies
have better equipment or comments please jump in here...
I see no problem providing photos to SI in this manner,so if
anyone who doesn't have access to a scanner or web page will mail
me a FEW photos I will try to show them.
( To get an address, send me an E-mail a0004331@mail.airmail.net)
I think it would be neat to get one photo of each regular poster,
who was not at the meeting( Jim Kelley, Gabriel, Chuz,Meathead,
etc,etc)Mohan, Tl Com.,Tweaker,Rosemary, JUJU, etc)
If you ask to have photos mailed back to you please note that
and provide address and I will TRY to get them back to you.
These will be Dell related or people photos, if Donnie sends me a photo of his dog(s) you may not get to see it, one of Chuzz might get by the editor(gg)
Keep in mind the photo will only be accessible for a day or so,
but might be re-posted upon request..

I'm one of those people that have to buy in small amounts, and so are some of my friends, but once bought, those shares are locked up forever.
I know some of you are very wealthy. but i do what i can.
i buy 10 or 30 at a time.
but it all adds up.
