FMK:

Your calculations are impressive, indeed more so when the realization hit's that the numbers you've "crunched" represent 1 line, and 1 shift. When you project out to upwards of 4 lines, running 3 shifts...well, impressive indeed. However, at this particular point in time, should anyone choose to gamble on VLNC then it's all about assessing risk. And as a speculation, until news is forthcoming, the risk is medium to high. Why? Because despite the impressive nature of the numbers, we've still to hear anything regarding the integrated line(s) performance capabilities(although I'm optimistic), much less what OEM's think of the latest generation of product, particularly in the form of p.o.'s.

Of course, one indicator of major significance which can be used to determine relative risk will be a financing package. You just knew I'd get around to that, eh? Heh! Financing packages are clearly an assessment of risk, with the assessment being done by financial types who'll have seen first hand VLNC's situation. Something all of us longs wish we could do right now. It will be the "quality" of the financing which will allow me to determine the true amount of risk VLNC still has in it, and thus its intrinsic worth. That is, in a generalistic sense, the more severe the package, the less likely the financier feels VLNC will survive, the better the package, the more favorable disposed the financiers clearly are to VLNC's success. This package kind'a sort'a acts as our eye's looking over VLNC's plant.

Don't get me wrong. I'm just about as bullish as bullish can be regarding VLNC, so need I say I've filed away your calculations for future review? ;-) We just need a corroborative mechanism to validate the intrinsic value your calculations have explored. And I can think of no mechanism of greater worth right now than L.D. announcing to VLNC shareholders just what he's accomplished in terms of securing the company's future.

Looking forward to a great week out of VLNC!!

Regards!

John~
