My lurker investor friend responds: BMG still requires a response card, or the featured selection will be sent anyway. Colombia House recently changed their format and plan, but one must opt for the new plan which requires reobligation for additional CDs. In other words, you may get 7 free CDs to rejoin under the new rules, but still must fulfill a minimum purchase requirement of 9 or 10 CDs at full retail prices (16.98 and up). BMG has no minimum requirement to fulfill, but selection can be a problem. Still there are many internet sites that are selling music and video tapes/CDs. CCI has to distinguish themselves from these other sites to make the cut. By the way, I visited the CCI website and found it to be very professional. Hope its operational soon.
