The grace, love, and mercy of God are never ending,... and sadly for some of his followers little to none is ever handed out.

We are all made in the image of God even those who may distort that image, but nonetheless, as Christians we are to extend a hand filled with mercy even to those who may have none to give in return. Kindness and mercy, extended to one who who is not in the will of God may help him find that perfect will of God, if only by example from a merciful follower of Christ.

If in the alternative we Christians cannot, from our hearts, gather together enough mercy and/or forgiveness, to extend to one in need, than it be better that, we as followers of Christ, were silent! For it is far worse if we set a bad example.... than none at all.

If we find ourselves in such a position,(unable to find it in our hearts to show mercy), than we need only to remember that but for the mercy of God we ourselves would be cast aways!
Our sins are no less sinful than those we accuse our brothers of, and yet God's mercy covers us.
And because of the mercy of God He reminds us no more of our past inequities. He is not always reminding us of how sinful we are, and because He is righteous and Holy, He has every right to, but because of His mercy He does not.
Praise be to His holy name.

Imagine for one unholy moment if God Himself began to post here and listed all the past sins of all of us, and constantly reminded not only us, but the entire population of just how wretched we really are.
I dare say not one of us could withstand such ridicule, not one of us!
But He doesn't, and praise God,.... He doesn't not because He shouldn't, but because of His Mercy.

Luke 6:35-37
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Matt 5:7
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Thank you dear Father in Heaven for your mercy, though I am not worthy
O the mercy of God! Where would any of us be without it?
Shalom...><>
