DOC, I think you just answered your own question. Not all investors are smart. Especially the naive who read the threads and take to heart what some of the promoters and cult leaders here on the SI threads have to proclaim. There should always be some balance on the the threads. I think the real motivation for some of these posters lies in just getting the facts to be able to make good investment decisions. How many times have folks been led down the primrose lane only to be duped into buying and losing all their hard earned blue collar money to the ole pump and dump routine. Too many.
