There is no law against smart, aggressive business practices - and this segmentation strategy is - as you know - one of the smartest.

The FTC is pursuing a vein that implies Intel cannot deal with lawsuits filed by its customers as it (Intel) sees fit.

That may suggest that the FTC needs better ideas, indeed.
