Well, yes, when Microsoft stops reporting, gets delisted back to the bulletin board, gets Rocketeered up into a speculative spike, and critical posters on its thread start getting death threats, then I would say yes, that would raise an odor around the stock. You're right on that point. Frantic hypeing on SI will attract critical eyes. Ditto death threats. Get used to it. ...if someone gave a death threat to a basher on the microsoft thread.....i guess by your standards microsoft must stink..... Funny, though. MSFT has its detractors, and I'm one of 'em. I did a contract job for a Microsoft subsidiary once, and I can't say it was an experience that instilled confidence in the expertise of the MSofties. But I did object, and they DIDN'T threaten to kill me. Neither has anyone in connection with any other stock I've dumped on. Only MTEI. I wonder why that is.
