Mulan is going to China! That's the most important.

According to my dad, who reads about 4 Chinese newspapers a day and watches 3 Chinese news stations over the satellite, Mulan is definitely going to China. It appears that the deal has been sealed even before the movie release. In exchange for the deal, Chinese animation artists are going to learn the trade from Disney, and that some Chinese movie stars (those who haven't stepped on China's interests) will do some voice.

It appears that any film that goes to China is a smash, since you can count with your fingers how many that are allowed in China each year. The long close-up China is so thirsty for outside exposure. And I can't imagine how those single kids in those Chinese families could be denied.
