Lynn,

I like the idea of compaq corporation, which will better define it as a whole entity of digital, tabdem and copmaq and not anymore just a computer box maker corporation. Peace and good luck.

When people mention Compaq, they usually just say Compaq, since it is a unique and widely known corporate name. Changing from CCC to just CC would probably affect nothing.

On a tangent I thought Woolworth's name change to Venator was ill-conceived. No one knows what Venator is and publications that mention Venator have to refer to it's previous incarnation so that people have a clue.
