Can we please put down the weapons of war?
How about spreading the good news for a change?

Come on, both you guys have much more to offer the body of Christ than arguing with one another over matters that do not make a difference to our souls.

Can't you see the division that is happening? It is not the way of God. Why not dwell on those things that can build up and edify all who are posting here, and maybe those who are just lurking looking for some encouragement or spiritual food for their souls. And if you really rather be bitter, and if it brings you some kind of joy to constantly do battle, then why not just keep it in private messages.? Why subject everybody else to such strife?

It really would be a very good thing if you could work out all your differences between yourselves, and not have any need to continue in a fashion not worthy of a follower of Christ. But I say if you cannot find it in your hearts to extend to others the same love, forgiveness, mercy, and grace that our most loving Father extends to us, then have nothing at all to do with one another. Saying nothing is far better than saying anything unkind.

Gal 5:15-16
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Please allow God to be glorified, for only He is worthy.
May God's love be revealed through you.... to all.
2 Cor.13:14
Shalom...><>
BTW
Alan, God is also spelled with a Capital G. What about those who post here that do not use the capital G? Should they also be reminded?...Or do you think God really minds? Or how about you, do you mind?

Alan & Nancy. How is your family handling the hot weather of Texas? Sounds terrible for those of us that are out of the "hot zone."
Drove through your long state a few times, the last time from Yuma to Pensacola revival. Once we entered your state, it seemed we were in it forever.
Fortunately, Texas has some wonderful characteristics, or many would head out I would think.
The news had on about the Arayan March in Couer d'Alene, Idaho. Rev. Butler, the 80 year old head spouted some scripture and sounded very sanctimonious. Ironically, he and his group probably have as much "heinzor" in them as most other Americans. His march, according to the news raised over $40,000 for a Holocaust fund set up by counter marchers that raised money based on the time element of the March.
Thank God, the large majority of American's want nothing to do with this kind of 'stinkin thinkin

May God grant to you a splendidly sensational week!

Greetings to all,

I'm imagining what must be going on in the thoughts of a person that is balanced at the point of decision to either accept or reject the plan of salvation through Christ.

I'm imagining that same person following this thread and seeing the examples set out by some and perhaps basing (wrongfuly) their decision on what they have read here!

II Cor. 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men...
The writings here may be the closest some people may ever get to reading scripture.

II Cor. 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

As you are locked in battle displaying your personal testimonies for all to see, think on this. When you face the Lord one day as we all must is He going to ask you "did you win that fight on SI?"

Or is He more likely to ask, "what did you do with My Son?"

Are the people reading your words here that don't know the Lord as their Saviour seeing a lighthouse or a stumbling block?
Phil. 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Moses was meek above all men (Numbers 12:3)and he was called the friend of God.
Dare to be a Moses and please read II Tim. 2:24-26 I posted it here before.

God bless,

John
