Re: "Just needs to find another stroke per hole!"

The best spot I know of to cut off a stroke per hole is around the green - chipping and putting. As the saying goes, "drive for show, putt for dough!"

Bob Jr., don't you have anything to say about this???

Best wishes,

I2

In re: "(Bob Brinker)Senior posted a Western U.S. tournament record
score of 88 strokes on his way to..."

Don, given Brinker, Sr.'s evident success in the improvement of his
golf score, his acknowledged determination to conquer the fairways
and greens alike, and his expressed view that he contemplates, at length,
disembarking the StarShip for the sake of the "grand old game," more
than a few us likely grow colder as Brinker's game gets hotter. Mindful,
of this, the following refrain perhaps bears repetition, to wit:

Brinker, tinker,
Jack of all things,
Don't turn golf pro,
Till Fat Lady sings!
