1. Simmons put that report out many months ago. Very old news, and most people in the business "chuckle" when they talk about his 450 rigs to be built. His company is the biggest cheerleader of the industry around...why do you think they do so many offerings?

2. Caspian Sea -- Definition of a sea is an inland body of water. How are you going to suck the excess capacity of Gulf of Mexico jackups, etc. to an inland sea? Ain't gonna happen. What likely WILL happen is that some smart shipyard like FGII will make a deal with a Caspian Sea-area shipyard and go over there and build new rigs on site. But guess what? It ain't gonna happen with low oil prices.

I'm not saying business will not be good in the future. All I am saying is it ALL depends on the price of oil -- which I "feel" will be going higher and therefore fulfill the expectations you have for the industry -- but not for the reasons you outline.
