Amigo,

I like Joe's choice ... SOSS. Interesting.

Been looking at EMLX again. Hard to say whether or not there will be a sustained move after the huge run last week. If it rests a little this week ...... I'll scoop up those shares again. Fiber channel is starting to gain market acceptance and EMLX is a leader with alliances already in hand with the big boys.

I have also taken to Cary's WAVX. I did not fully understand what WAVX does when Cary brought it to the thread. I have spent a little time looking at it and it is VERY interesting. It seems they can be an intermediary on the internet to delivery software straight to your computer from any software maker. They have a technology whereby you can download a full version on a trial basis. If you like it ... you buy it. If not .... the WAVX technology will prompt you to uninstall the software from your computer and can actually "meter" this action so as to confirm that the software has been removed from your PC. This technology can be used by ANY software company. I also understand that they have a chip that is to be incorporated into new PC starting late this year that will enhance this "metering" of software to your computer. Interesting indeed.

Another of interest is EGNS. They are a COBOL solutions company. They are involved in y2k solutions and language conversion. IBM endorsed partner. Just signed major deal in China which apparently is 90% COBOL software.

I am looking at puts on GIS. Big downtrend and cereal war looks ready to heat up. GISTM at $1.

IMO ..... SOSS good for 5 to 6 pts short term, EMLX .... longer term mid 20s, WAVX to the teens intermediate term and EGNS ..... could take off quick with initial target of $8.
