Does any of this matter at all? As a new participant in this thread I have learned a substantial amount from the various postings. Like many of you, I purchased HEC on the hope they would find large amounts of oil. However, with the worldwide oil glut resulting in depressed prices, even if HEC finds a large reserve of oil, isn't it possible that it wouldn't matter anyway? That even if they could pump the oil they might not be able to sell it over their cost? Not that I have a short-term view, but I would think a small company like HEC might not make it if it takes years (which it might) for oil prices to increase? In essence, HEC might be a great company with great technology but the market for their particular product is depressed making HEC's worth decrease? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
