Shalom, I believe most of the posters on this thread have sinned at one time or another with carnality taking over. I certainly have. I have tried to stay out of the "frays" lately as they are a) not glorifying to God b) my flesh is weak and I respond therein at times I see that you have taken that approach as well. I respect you for it. However, as it 'sez in Hez. III 5:22 "Until we have walked in the moccassins of another, we shouldn't tell them their walk is wrong." So, since I have such wide feet, nobody's shoes would work on my feet. Thusly, the shoes others walk in, I certainly haven't---and---can't. I think I have taken enough from a few on this thread not just against Jews but others like Mark who is searching for the truth. You have expressed yourself Shalom on a number of occasions so whats your point. Just one example................. It seems like you were holding much inside against me since nothing I said to you would spark such a lengthy reply. I just used an example of one little post you made and you deem to call me unsteady, criticize and ridicule Bob, that I used your words against you, that I should look in the mirror myself, doubting that I know was repentance means ect ect...... Now thats much to come back on with those few sentences unless of course you were upset with your own words. But isn't that why you chose to lecture me on in the first place................. Bob jumped in and I had no conversation with him, then you decide to jump in and I had no conversation with you. If you think you are not guilty of criticizing and ridicule with all the rest thrown in well I am speechless, those few sentences were not worthy of such a reply by you unless your own words bothered you in your post to Emile. ><>...Alan, I am really baffled at your unsteadiness...><> First you criticize and ridicule Bob and some others,for not taking a stand against Emile, then you use against me, the stand I did take against Emile. I guess I have never been criticized or ridiculed. I call it like it is Shalom by the words one speaks and their actions not by one claiming to be a Christian or who side one is on. I was not communicating with Bob or yourself but for some reason you as well as Bob thought it was spiritually right to do your thing and come out of the woodwork and lecture me you and Bob are not Jewish many might think you are by your handle. What unsteadiness are you talking about, that I should not express my feelings about how people label Jews. And you even had to search all the way back to 1997 to do it.. it was May , more than 14 months ago. If you want a more recent one I will have no problem producing it. I just posted that one since it was your first encounter with Emile you act as if you never argue I think we both know thats not the case. If what I posted was a sin than I am sure thankful that God does not take His example from you. God will never use against us what we have done in the past. Why do you Alan? You will notice Alan, what I posted to Emile was in defense of my Lord Jesus Christ. It was for the Gospel's sake, not for the sake of the flesh, there was no pride that entered into my rebuke. And I didn't carry it on post after post, after post,as though I were out of control. Ok so I see now you are trying to justify your post by not seeming to be out of control. Defending a group of people whether it be Jew or whatever is not something that is built on pride its called being humble to never put yourself in a position of being better than someone else. Being that you are a Christian are you better than Mark................ I am no better than Emile or Bob or anyone since we may be totally different people when we die than we presently are. Emile will have to answer to God for his ways....as will we all. This includes you too Alan. I think I know that Shalom so whats your point and who is doing the Anti-Christ thing along with the Jews are this and that............ Not to mention suggesting that certain individuals are possessed by Demons.................. What I have learned is that there is nothing more discouraging, to say the least, than to see Christians getting some sort of warped pleasure, or at least some seemingly warped pleasure, out of constantly harping on someone else's shortcomings. Tell me Shalom who are the Christians and what shortcomings are you talking about. I have repented wholeheartedly on my knees before God for any part that I may have had in making Him angry or sad. And because of His mercy, He does not hold any of my past sins against me.! Praise His Holy name. Well if you feel that the post you made to Emile was a sin you need to ask Emile for forgiveness............. I don't even now dare suggest that you do the same. Sincere repentance can only be effective if and when we die to the flesh that is so full of our sin-filled self and pride. We must allow ourselves to be led by the Spirit of God. Anything else short of that, will always fail! Strong words. Why the need to suggest me to do anything. Pride only comes from within that somehow you are better than and thats what I have been fighting on this thread the better than attitude of some. Like I light you blah blah blah..................... I will say this though Alan, it may be high time for you take out that mirror you keep telling others about. And I tell you that only in love and in hope you will heed it. Well if that is what you think of me I can accept it. You see Shalom I really do not care what you or anyone else thinks of me that does not hurt me in any way. Its the horse manure that is heaped on others like Israel or non believers that do not condemn the Bible but just express their views and the I the light comes out, that is going to set them straight when they can not even see the fault in regards to themself. Alan I have posted more than my share of not so kindly posts, and God knows I maybe had no right to, but I have repented and God no longer uses them against me. If you repented you need to do it in regards to the person you violated........... So start repenting. Repented Alan, do you understand fully what it means to repent? It means to be sincerely sorry and turn from those ways... It doesn't mean to say "Gee, God I'm sorry about that" nor does it mean " "Well you know God he had it coming", or some other lame excuse. Shalom I read this and all it comes down to is that you find it important to lecture me. Worry about yourself and stop with the preaching of what repentance is maybe you can start a thread on it. I will end this by just saying that, if you wish to continue your never ending useless battle then so be it, but I still believe that you have much more to offer in the way of good tidings, good news, to all who come here. What good tidings Shalom. Good news????? to who Jews.......... or other Christians to non believers? or other Christians I find that some are so wrapped up in there self proclaimed Christianity that there only agenda is to treat non believers Jews or what have you like low life. We are servants for the lost, not the other way around. We are to be compassionate, kind and gentle not self boasting..... My only crime is the attitude towards Jews and some of the unbelievers by the holy ones. Shalom; Please disregard my last post to you, I have no problem with you other than you feel that I must refrain from stating my convictions on an issue that concerns me, and we all know what that issue is. It is not worth it for us to bicker over how we express ourselves on this forum. If I offended you with using your post as an example I humbly apologize, but I am not the type that holds grudges or is not forgiving I have no time for such nonsense. Alan
