Well Dusty I know you have a problem with all of this and have for a while but that does not make it illegal or not legit just that you have a problem with it because you do not understand it. Since you don't why do your invest in this market and not go to a professional to do your investing for you. Anyone can charge food on credit without a credit card BTW. Nothing says you can't. The market is one of the most deversified industries there is in the world. There are rules and regulations and people have the right to make a living at it and get stock for payment. Read HVAR's SEC filings they are issuing certificates like writing corporate checks. Your whole focus and thought process though noble is only that noble and not accurate or factual. .You are better versed with this issue than I; but I did think that there was a document that had to be filed stating intent to buy or sell "prior" to actually doing so; is this correct? Depends on the transaction. With a 504 a D has to be filed I believe. You are going to have to be more specific. If the stock is registered there is not a problem. You see 144s all the time without a name on it. Just like you see the point in greg's post, it is not however a legal beef just a mere dislike plus he has to prove motive, intent and the burden of proof has to be established. Also a lot of the laws people so freely quote on line as illegal do not neccessarily apply to private investors. If you have a problem with all this then I suggest you do your own DD and trade what is right for you which I have been saying for months and months and most of all use common sense. GB
