Commisseration to SPTR owners. THe news sounds terrible. But it really should not come as a great surprise. From the time GLW shocked the fiber world last year, it is clear that the pricing power of fiber has been changed as has the supply/demand picture of the commodity. I sold SPTR at 20 right after GLW announced last year, and have just monitored it since then. The chart is terrible, the FA is terrible, and the stock will remain at this level or nearby until the fundamentals of the optical fiber world changes. Good luck to you all. please don't take this message as being sarcastic, i write it simply to respond to the woe is me attitude. and believe me, i have ridden stocks down too, guess i either got lucky with SPTR or finally am being to learn when to bail. larrry
