Stuart, salivate over down and out companies, looking towards CREAF today, bought ANAD last week. Hard to guess where these maniac stocks like BCST are going. It should be a $2 dollar stock, wouldn't buy it with stolen money(which the market provides). ATHM is the dominant franchise in cable modem access. I wait for negativity on the SI boards, look at the fundamentals, and analyze whether I would want to buy the company out at that price if I had the cash. But here is the competition, watch out,its bitsy, teany weany cable companies in Charleston are setting up a new @Home,@Homeless, or maybe @Shack,@MobleHOME?

Internet Cable Corporation Announces Contract Expansion With US Cable Coastal Properties
CHARLESTON, S.C., July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Internet Cable Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: ICBL - news) today announced expansion of its rollout of CableWave(TM), in partnership with US Cable Coastal Properties, to larger residential and commercial markets in both South Carolina and Georgia. CableWave(TM) is Internet Cable Corporation's high-speed Internet access by cable modem service, currently available to US Cable's subscribers in the Wild Dunes suburb of Charleston, South Carolina.

US Cable Coastal Properties has completed a fiber-optic upgrade, combining the cable TV systems of Johns Island, Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island in South Carolina. US Cable Coastal Properties has in excess of 47,000 subscribers.

Additionally, Internet Cable Corporation and US Cable are coordinating the testing of cable TV lines in US Cable's St. Marys, Georgia, system for CableWave(TM) services. The roll-out for this 4,300 subscriber system is planned for the fourth quarter of 1998.

Timothy R. Karnes, President and CEO of Internet Cable Corporation, remarked, ''I am enthusiastic about the expansion of CableWave(TM) into additional US Cable Coastal Properties service areas. The high-speed Internet industry has received a lot of attention in recent weeks due to the acquisition of TCI by AT&T and its resultant controlling interest in the @Home network. This merger further proves cable modems are the obvious choice over ISDN and ADSL technologies.''

US Cable Coastal Properties is an affiliate of the privately held US Cable Group, of Montvale, NJ, which operates cable systems in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas and New Mexico. US Cable Group's telecommunications offerings include US Telecom, a telephone service provider that supplies convention centers, and USFI Network Services, Inc., a global provider of telecommunications services and networks to government markets.

Internet Cable Corporation, headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, is in the business of administering high-speed Internet access for cable TV companies on a revenue sharing basis. The use of cable modems for Internet access provides customers the ability to download and upload multi-media at speeds hundreds of times faster than those of typical telephone modems. More information is available at Internet Cable Corporation's website at: http//www.cablewave.net .
Its a pink sheet BB company.

Stuart I have my shares put away for the long term and am looking to add to it. The share price is the key to that second investment. IMHO Athm is an excellent growth play but should it be in the 50's? Mostly likely not if you look at it a value investor would most likely be on the floor having convulsions. Ratios are basically off the scale but the potential for growth is also off the scale. So how do you value these net stocks? I look at it like if one could go back in time and buy share's of ATT or Disney during there IPO. I know some will say I can't compare blue chips to a beginner. IMO we won't see ATHM visiting the twenties again, let alone the teens. It would be great to load up but I really doubt it. If this were 1989 and we hadn't seen the likes of MSFT, CSCO and Dell;Athm would most likely be a $4-$5 stock. I am in at $36 with a large profit in my pocket will I sell? No. Why? Simply because this is the same type of stk I've had before and sold too early. Had Yahoo at 26. Would I sell Athm at $200 in a year? Most likely not. I will see the Boom or Bust of this stock in 3-5 yrs. If I was a shorting this stock I would be very worried of that liftoff. But a good market correction could bring us down a bit. End result think L/T.
