NASDAQ'S Leaders
As the Nasdaq jumped from 1000 to 2000 over the past three years, the
bulk of the increase has been contributed by the 10 stocks listed
below. Microsoft was the big leader, adding $217 billion in market
value and contributing 30% of the gain in the top 100 stocks in
Nasdaq. These top 100 stocks now account for about half of the
Nasdaq's overall value. At the bottom are the 10 Nasdaq stocks that
lost the most market value.
