None of the market capitalization data on Market Guide's web site appeared to be in error. All had market capitalization data consistent with GE's market capitalization. I also looked up the market capitalization for two stocks for which Quotes Plus Version 2 database, dated 7-17-98, did not have market capitalization data. Market Guide had realistic market capitalization data for these two stocks. Conclusion if Market Guide supplies Quotes Plus with fundamental data then it sure appears like the scaling problems are being introduced at Quotes Plus and not Market Guide.
