Roy,
thanks for the info regarding ethernet connections. Seems pretty straight forward. I had gleaned from some networking books in Barnes and Noble how to do this, but thought that I was missing something.
It seemed too easy.

I had subsequently found an informative article on David E's MacKido.com website also laying it all out again. Unfortunately he is temporarily closed down while in search of a new (READ inexpensive ) host so there is no link for the article at the moment.

It strikes me that the ease of networking with the iMac should be a significant selling point aimed at exisiting Power Mac owners. Its a shame that the 6200/6300 Performas didn't have ethernet connectors
built in.

I wanted to pick up some more shares and yesterday may have been the day,but I was MIA with my kids all day.

I guess I'm just too human ...............................pkdick

We'll see what today brings. Maybe Mr.Greenspan should give it another shot today.

Thanks again,
Peter
