I will rest a lot easier when foreign stock exchanges, banks, etc. run similar tests and announce similar results. Have said it before, will say it again: the BIG millennium bug problem is not in the U.S. but abroad. I'm surprised that Bob B., to my knowledge, has never addressed Y2K as anything more than a domestic issue, and no caller (that I've heard) has brought up the global significance. Was also dismayed to hear Bob say "there is still plenty of time to fix any Y2K problems" (or words to that effect). We have less than 18 months -- you can only dump so many dollars and so many hours of labor at this problem in that period of time. And that's assuming you're already working on it, which many countries and companies are not.
