<<Does anyone know for a fact that they were not compensated by OCOM? >>

Well, Stock Genie says (and there are SEC laws requiring accurate disclosure, with substantial monetary penalties):

<<The Stock Genie is an independent electronic publication providing
information on selected public companies. Most companies profiled by
Stock Genie pay consideration in cash and/or stock to Stock Genie for
the electronic dissemination of company information and, in some
cases, web site development. Objective Communications Inc. ("OCOM")
has not paid any consideration of any kind whatsoever for this
profile.>>

Of course, a third party, not OCOM, might have paid for the coverage. I'd have to agree that the fact that they are writing about OCOM at all is a negative.

Tonto, Genie make a very firm statement that they were not compensated by OCOM. I think we have to accept that unless proven otherwise. But they will probably take a large market position, hype for a while, and then sell.

Would you trust investment advice from someone who called themselves "tonto"? :-)

On SI, the most heavily bookmarked posters tend to have the most bizarre screen names:

Many people appear to follow their advice, for good or bad.
