The good news just keeps coming.

I threw in the towel on my Performa 550 over the weekend (that 030 chip was getting a little tired) and ordered a 266 G3 AIO from the Apple Store.

Watch for a big gap up this morning on this news.

Next month, I intend to purchase an iMac for my daughter going to college.

Two comments:

First, you might have not bought the iMac if you were not an AAPL investor.

Second I mentioned in the message you replied to that the iMac would be an opportunity for AAPL to get new users to Mac (provided it was "same but different" to windows). I think you are a good example of that, as you mention the need to run virtual PC on your Mac.

As if that weren't enough I wrote "many customers are going throuh last round". Yeap, I said many, not all.

The iMac will hopefully provide others like you who switch (I'm still long on this baby).
