I have only exercised once on CCI with 110 puts
and because I was forced too....they didnt tell me at the time..but it would have been an automatic exercise anyway because it was so far in the money

and to answer the question I keep seeing on this thread about account requirements...

because it was a small trial account with Pacific( which I closed after this debacle) i sure didnt have the money in the account to cover that trade AT ALL

now they said I had to send them the money to cover the Fed requirements on Monday even though I immediately covered the position on Monday and everything was taken care of

so I dont know the validity of being able to not send that money and just cover and forget it

and it would have never occurred to me to pull such a stunt

I was a nervous wreck over the weekend thinking something would happen over the weekend....but that was a year ago before the mania banking mergers...

hmmmm

well now I have another strategy ;-)
